Why Join the CLPOA?

Welcome to Chandos Lake! As a new cottage owner, you will be pleased to know your lake has a thriving cottage association, the Chandos Lake Property Owners Association, or CLPOA.

For more than 30 years the volunteers that run the CLPOA have used the revenues from membership dues to:

  • Maintain the marker buoy system that identifies hazards around the lake

  • Represent Chandos Lake cottagers’ interests by taking an active role in lake, municipal and township developments

  • Liaise with Ministry of Natural Resources with regards to water levels, fish stocks, water quality etc.

  • Publish the Annual Year Book, sent to each member

  • Host an Annual Regatta on the August long weekend

  • Host an Annual Corn and Weiner Roast on September long weekend

  • Maintain an informative website at www.CLPOA.ca

  • Produce and mail out newsletters to keep our members informed of activities

  • Support Chandos Lake Sailing races and Safe Boating education

By keeping our membership numbers high we are able to keep our annual fees low. For just $35 your membership in the CLPOA will ensure that all of these activities and initiatives carry on.

There are 2 ways to join:

  1. You can use the membership form found here and mail it to the address as shown, along with your cheque.

  2. You can visit our website and pay membership dues online.

If you have any questions please email me: igorman1@symatico.ca .

Your support of the Chandos Lake Property Owners Association is important as it helps to ensure a vibrant cottage experience on Chandos Lake.
