2009 Corn Roast was a great success...
The 2009 Corn and Weiner Roast was a great success with fantastic weather to end a summer of unpredictable weather. We had a record turnout of cottagers and sold out all of the food – 200 hot dogs, 200 sausages and about 600 corn on the cob. Clarke's Country Store supplied the food again this year, and the corn was supplied by the Apsley IGA and everything was delicious. We have a big thank you to Debi and Mike at Gilmour Bay Marina and Store for lending their property again this year for the Chandos Lake Property Owners Association to hold this Annual Event. Thank you to all the Volunteers and to all the Cottagers who helped make this another successful event.
