The Boater Exam Training Program

The 2011 Boater Training Program for Youth will be held July 3rd, 2011 at the Glen Alda Community Centre.
On Sunday, July 3rd, 2011, we will hold a full day course for youth, the North Kawartha Fire Department will also attend and hold their fire extinguisher course. Each participant who successfully passes receives their lifetime PLEASURE CRAFT OPERATOR CARD.
The $75.00 + HST registration fee includes: Training manual, at least 3 hours of training, Exam and Graduation Ceremony.
The late Harold Forbes, who passed away in 2007, a past president of the CLPOA, and teacher of the original Boatwise course graduated over 567 students. In honour of Staff Commander Harold Forbes – Canadian Power Squadron, those who receive 100% on their Exam scores will receive the “Harold Forbes Memorial Award”.
